Description: The Caribbean ocean with it's crystal clear blue water reflecting streaking white clouds are personified in these incredible Larimar stones. I have seen many pieces of Larimar and these are certainly the most stunning.
Larimar comes from Santo Domingo in the Caribbean and the whole mine is only a mile wide making it precious. They are no longer allowed to export the rough rock, only finished products, so it is becoming even more scarce. Besides that, it is difficult to cut with some places very hard and others very soft. All in all, a rare and exquisite stone.
